With the weather unfriendly on Sunday, the only social bowls session of the week at the Orbost Bowls Club was last Thursday.
With another good turnout, the format was two games of 10 ends, the afternoon concluding with two teams winning both of their games and a count back required.
Despite a meticulous count back, the winner between the two teams had to be decided by a blind draw.
The winning team was Ron Hatcher (skip) Beryl Dyce, Annette Grmusa and Lorraine Hawkey, while the runners-up were Bruce Kneebone (skip), Ralph Harding and Dennis McCann.
The next social bowls afternoon will be on Thursday, May 22.
Anyone is welcome to attend, whether they are beginners or experienced bowlers, you just need to be at the club by 12.30pm.
