This winter, the Orbost Arts Centre invites the community to step through the looking glass and into a world of creativity and imagination
with its latest exhibition, Welcome to Wonderland.
Running from Friday, June 13 to Friday, August 1, this community art show is
inspired by the timeless magic of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland.
Open to artists of all ages and experience levels across East Gippsland, the exhibition welcomes all mediums – from painting and sculpture to digital art and textiles.
The show features two entry categories: Youth (under 18) and open, with a viewer’s choice award in each category to be announced during the closing night celebration on Friday, August 1.
As part of the exhibition, families are invited to a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party on Wednesday, July 16.
This special school holiday event will include fun art and book-themed activities for kids, along with afternoon tea.
