Local artists Blazenka Lesinger and Ingrid Smith-Rijneveld are currently exhibiting at Bruthen Village Maker and Gallery in soft pastels, acrylic and some archival prints with a selection of original mono print cards.
Ingrid is a Bairnsdale artist who takes inspiration from the East Gippsland landscape, seascape and botanical subjects and has won several awards for her work, which can also be found in the East Gippsland Art Gallery shop. She opens her studio to the public every few years and is a member of the Bairnsdale Art Society.
Blazenka is a contemporary artist from Paynesville. Art, design and the love of beauty in its many forms have always been constant and she takes her inspiration from flowers and natural forms.
The gallery space is open Thursday-Sunday 10am-4pm.
