Last weekend Mallacoota Football Club rallied together to raise funds for breast cancer awareness in support of one of their own, whose Nan was recently diagnosed.
The club hosted a raffle, bake sale and a ‘slime the coach’ event which turned out to be a massive crowd favourite.
Special shout out to the Eden Killer Whales, who jumped right in and raised over $100 to slime their coach Mick.
In total four coaches were slimed throughout the day all showing incredible spirit and support for such a meaningful cause.
Players, coaches and supporters also wore pink socks, shirts and ribbons to stand in solidarity and raise awareness.
It was a brilliant day of football, fun and community coming together for something bigger than the game.
