The Orbost Basketball Association Winter season will commence on Monday, July 21.
The action will take place over three nights, with Monday night seeing the under 12 and 17 mixed and the women’s competition.
Wednesday night will be under 10 and 14 mixed, as well as men’s competition night.
Friday night is “Aussie Hoops’ night the popular program that targets four to seven-year-olds, in a fun and exclusive environment, in a structured introductory
basketball program.
The sessions include graded increases in competitiveness until participants are ready to transition to local competition.
It’s an eight-week program that begins on Friday, July 25 and runs from 4-4.45pm.
The association is also delighted to announce new competition coordinators for the season.
They include Amy Burn (under 17 women), Dayne Jorgenson (under 17 mens), Jason Russell (mens), Graham Millward (under 12), Kayla Enzinger (under 12), Scotty Baker (under 14 mens), Casey Price (under 10), Tiffany Hambling (under 10) and Lisa Ross (referees).
