A 64-year-old male driver has had his car impounded after being intercepted by Victoria Police in Bemm River on July 2.
Officers intercepted the driver on Sydenham Inlet Road at around 5.30pm.
The male gave an evidentiary breath test reading of 0.098, which is almost twice the legal limit.
Checks of the male’s licence revealed that he was a suspended driver., with his car was impounded at a cost of $1,550 and the male is expected to be charged on summons.
