Local police were conducting a static speed radar site on the Princes Highway, west of Cann River on August 7 when they detected a vehicle travelling at 15 kilometres an hour over the posted speed limit.
The vehicle was intercepted and the driver identified as a 55-year-old female from Narre Warren South, has never held a
drivers licence.
The driver was required to undergo a preliminary oral fluid test which returned a positive result for methamphetamine, a further oral fluid test confirmed the positive result.
The driver was fined a total of $2136 and disqualified from driving for six months.
