Members of the Orbost Probus Club were treated to a first aid presentation by local ambulance officers Belinda and Nicole at their monthly meeting on September 18 at the Senior Citizen Rooms.
This vital information followed with a physical demonstration on how to use a defibrillator which are located around various venues in Orbost, Marlo
and Newmerella.
Belinda and Nicole’s detailed instructions were very clear and precise, especially the do’s and dont’s, not to be afraid, be calm and confident – the defibrillator can do no harm and has verbal instructions.
Probus members had many questions for Belinda and Nicole whose answers gave the members satisfaction and confidence.
Probus members thanked Belinda and Nicole for taking the time to come out and give the demonstrtation.
All seniors are invited to an open day on October 16 from 9.30am till midday.
