The Orbost Cricket Club kicked off its season on the weekend, with a practice match on Saturday against Maffra.
Both clubs enjoying the hit out on the magnificent surface of the Orbost Recreation Reserve.
It’s a busy time at the Orbost Cricket Club with the club hosting a grand final function at the clubrooms from 11.30am on Saturday.
Lunch will be served at 12.30pm, with the grand final commencing at 2.30pm.
The Bairnsdale Cricket Association will kick off on October 4, with the “A” grade season commencing.
The under 13 competition will commence on October 10, while the “B” and “C” grade, and the under 16s will commence on October 11.
