The Australian Bass Tournaments (ABT) 2025 Bream Series grand final is currently being contested at Marlo (Tuesday/Wednesday), with 30 boaters and 30 non boaters chasing ultimate fishing glory and some fabulous prizes that are on offer.
There are four boaters in the field keen to be the first person to win a bream grand final twice, and 26 others keen to take it out for their first time.
On the eve of the finale, several of the major 2025 awards were presented at the briefing at the Marlo Hotel.
The coveted Boater Angler of the Year winner was awarded to Mark Healy, who unfortunately wasn’t able to make the grand final due to other commitments.
Nathan Booth was the Non Boater Angler of the Year, finishing with 485 points out of a possible 500 points in his third ABT season to take the title.
Mark Crompton is the winner of the Mercury Cup, awarded to the highest place Mercury owner for the season (which included all bream qualifying rounds and open events).
After two competitive days of fishing on Tuesday and Wednesday, the grand final winner will be announced this evening.
