The East Gippsland Historical Automobile Club Inc. is hosting the 14th Triennial Rally, over four days this Melbourne Cup Weekend.
Sixty-one vintage and classic cars will be touring through Maffra, Sale, Briagolong, Stratford, Bengworden, Lindenow, Bruthen, Buchan, Orbost, Sarsfield, Metung, Swan Reach, Lakes Entrance, Kalimna and Bairnsdale over this period.
On Sunday, November 2, the cars will depart Bairnsdale and travel to Orbost via Buchan.
The Orbost Country Women’s Association will
provide a two course lunch at the Orbost Snowy Rovers Football Netball clubrooms for 100 people.
The cars will be on display and members of the community are invited to come along and view them and talk with the owners.
After lunch the group will have time to visit the township before stopping off for a tour of the Snowy River Seed Co-operative, before turning to their base in Bairnsdale.
