Sharni Ashford is a dedicated student, currently honing her craft by attending weekly classes at Bohdi Taylor Artist’s Studio, “ArtLand,” where she explores a diverse range of artistic mediums.
Sharni’s artistic pursuits have recently seen significant success, marked by winning a prize at the Bruthen Mixed Bag Exhibition.
Her current work is on display at The Brew Crew Cafe on Nicholson Street, Bairnsdale.
She is available to meet with interested patrons at the cafe every Monday, between 8am and 12pm, as she also works on-site.
Sharni accepts commissions and welcomes inquiries to discuss client needs.
Her personal philosophy centres on the therapeutic and engaging nature of her practice: “I find practicing art relaxing. I love bright colours and challenging myself.”
Brooke, Sharni’s instructor, attests to her rapid progress: “Sharni is absolutely kicking goals with her art which spills over to other areas of her life. It gives her confidence and a feeling of accomplishment. The cherry on top is that she’s making some money from her art. I couldn’t be prouder.”
