If you’re looking for a birthday or group celebration that’s anything but ordinary, ESports Collective on Macleod Street, Bairnsdale, is redefining how East Gippsland celebrates.
The 300-square-metre venue — created by Anna and Deryck Wills — is equipped with high-end gaming PCs, consoles, air hockey and pool tables, karaoke, VR experiences and even a full sim racing rig. It’s a modern, flexible space designed for fun, inclusion and zero stress for parents.
Families can book birthday parties from $30 per child, which includes two hours of gaming and exclusive use of the activity room for food, cake and celebrations — with no setup or cleanup required. For larger events, the entire venue can be hired from $450, with custom gaming tournaments or themed experiences created to suit each group.
But the fun doesn’t stop with gaming. The activity and event rooms transform easily into spaces for karaoke parties, disco nights or virtual reality adventures, giving families the freedom to plan an event that fits their child’s interests — even if half the guests
aren’t gamers.
“We wanted to create something for everyone — a space where kids can connect, play and celebrate in a safe, social environment,”
Anna said.
With drop-in gaming sessions, NDIS programs during the week, and weekends dedicated to parties and community events, ESports Collective is fast becoming Bairnsdale’s newest go-to celebration venue.
