A memorial service for Joyce Ingram was held at St James Hall on Saturday, November 1, with a large gathering of family and friends attending.
Joyce’s lifelong friend, Lorraine Coulton, and her daughter, Belinda, along with Joyce’s niece, organised the service.
Many tributes were spoken about Joyce’s life and her passion for hockey and her beloved football team – the Geelong Cats.
Joyce was also known for her hospitality, which was extended to all so generously.
Her encouragement given to the hockey teams over her lifetime was inspirational.
A banquet of food in honour of Joyce’s hospitality was shared during the service, while her hockey uniforms and memorabilia were on display.
Love and laughter was in the air at her memorial.
