Music lovers are in for a treat this weekend, with the Sunday Music Session returning to the Orbost Arts Centre on Sunday, November 16.
Doors open at 2.30pm, with live music from 3 to 6pm, and the bar open with great-value drinks and snacks available throughout the afternoon.
Kicking off the session is Michael Marmo, a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Bruthen. With more than 30 years of songwriting experience, Michael has performed with original bands in Melbourne and recorded two albums with Hippocrene. His performance will feature a mix of melodic, down-to-earth original songs that capture both warmth and atmosphere.
Following Michael, crowd favourites The Pegs will take the stage.
The popular Gippsland duo bring together folk, blues and country influences with ukulele, guitar, cello, clarinet and violin — all wrapped up in their trademark cheeky vocal harmonies. Their set promises a mellow and heartwarming blend of original songs and creative cover mash-ups.
Locals are encouraged to gather friends, enjoy a drink, and soak up the laid-back vibes.
The Sunday Music Session is the perfect way to unwind and enjoy a cruisy Sunday afternoon surrounded by community, creativity and live music.
