The Harmony Scholars Choir are throwing open the doors – and their hearts – for a joyful Christmas Sing-Along Concert on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 1.30 to 3pm at the Forge Theatre.
This free community event will be more than a concert; it will be a festive gathering where voices mingle, memories resurface, and laughter rings out.
The Harmony Scholars aren’t your typical choir, they are Bairnsdale’s own fun-loving songbirds; grandparents, neighbours, newcomers, and old friends who believe music is best when it’s shared.
The concert will be full of cheeky surprises, projected lyrics for easy singing, and a contagious spirit that will turn every seat into a stage.
Led by the ever-enthusiastic Ginny Vincent, with musical magic from accompanist Lyn Winnett, the Harmony Scholars will bring warmth, whimsy, and wholehearted connection to every moment.
At their recent Seniors Month concert they filled St John’s Church and had the crowd clapping, laughing and singing along to beloved tunes.
From handing out sunflowers during You Are My Sunshine to parading toy dogs for How Much Is That Doggie in the Window?, their concerts are always part singalong, part celebration, and all joy.
This year’s Christmas concert will feature classic carols, playful moments, and a few festive surprises.
Whether you belt out every note or hum along with a smile, you’ll be part of something truly special.
Tickets will be free but must be booked in advance via the Forge Theatre website. Seating will be general admission, with special arrangements available for those with mobility needs.
So, don’t wait to get your tickets because they are flying out faster than Santa’s reindeers.
Gather your family and friends, dust off your jingle bells, and kick off the holiday season with the Harmony Scholars.
Go for the music, stay for the magic, and leave ready to jingle all the way.
