Christmas is just around the corner and it is almost time for the Orbost Community Carols event to take place again.
An adult choir has been formed and they are very busy practising some entertaining carols, even managing to sing one of these in three-part harmony.
A primary choir from the Orbost Community College will also feature as well as a Secondary Vocal group.
Attendees can look forward to hearing Sue Taylor, director of music at the Orbost Community College, play her flute.
Sue’s playing is well worth hearing as she produces such a heavenly tone and she is a very polished performer.
There will be plenty of popular carols for everyone to join in with and a Christmas party supper will follow (please bring a plate of food to share).
Organisers hope to see a large crowd there on Sunday, December 7 at 6pm at St. Andrew’s Uniting Church.
