The Orbost Community Carols event is all ready to be presented this Sunday, December 7.
There will be plenty of carols for everyone to sing as well as some good quality items by choirs and individuals.
The Orbost Community College Senior Choir will feature with a traditional South African arrangement of Unto Us a Child Is Born and will conclude with the popular carol, Jingle Bell Rock.
The Community Primary Choir will sing Felix Navidad and Supa Santa.
A visiting soprano soloist will present that beautiful carol, O Holy Night, and everyone is looking forward to hearing Sue Taylor’s (director of music at Orbost Community College) flute solos, one of which she will play on her new Alto Flute.
This varied program which begins at 6pm, will be followed by a supper in the hall – please bring a plate of food to share.
This all takes place at St. Andrews Uniting Church and organisers hope to see a generous crowd to celebrate Christmas.
