St Joseph’s Primary School is delighted to share that staff member, Bryce Rowley, has been selected for an incredible professional opportunity.
Last week, Bryce joined 24 other Education Support Officers (ESOs) from across Catholic schools who are taking a major step toward becoming qualified teachers through the innovative Accelerated Bachelor of Education (Primary) program.
This prestigious program – now in its second intake – is a DOSCEL-sponsored initiative delivered in partnership with Swinburne University of Technology.
It has been purposefully designed to address the growing need for teachers by supporting current Education Support staff within the Diocese to transition into the teaching profession.
Bryce attended the official welcome and induction event in Warragul, where participants were greeted by Paul Velten, executive director of DOSCEL, and associate Professor Damien Lyons, deputy chair of education at Swinburne University of Technology.
The three-year accelerated program will commence in January 2026, and the school is incredibly proud that Bryce will be part of this transformative journey.
