East Gippsland Art Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of two new exhibitions showcasing the depth and diversity of Gippsland’s creative talent.
There will be an opening event for both exhibitions at the gallery on Friday, December 12, starting at 5.30pm.
JENNIFER MULLETT, NEW WORK
In this powerful new body of work, Jennifer Mullett reconnects with personal memories and lived experience, exploring identity through the symbolism found in the paintings, artefacts and storytelling traditions of the Gunaikurnai, Bidawal and Ngarigu peoples.
FINER THINGS
This group exhibition brings together small-scale artworks by renowned Gippsland artists.
Each piece draws on earthy colour palettes, botanical tones, organic textures and striking black-and-white interpretations, celebrating the beauty and nuance of the “finer things”.
Featured artists include Lesley Duxbury, Jill Hermans, Deirdre Jack, Josephine Jakobi, Daniel Jenkins, Klara Jones, Nadine Lineham, Glenys Mann, Frank Mesaric, Luke Mongta, John Mutsaers, Jenny Peterson, Patricia Pittman and Kate Shone.
Exhibitions run until January 24, 2026.
