Latrobe Community Health Service (LCHS) and Gippsland Primary Health Network (Gippsland PHN) will host the official launch of the new Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinic (EPPC), a multidisciplinary service designed to expand access to specialist endometriosis, pelvic pain and health care for women and gender diverse people across Gippsland.
The clinic is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, commissioned by Gippsland PHN, and delivered by Latrobe Community Health Service. It is expected to open on December 29, 2025.
Endometriosis affects an estimated 14 per cent of Australian females, with an average diagnostic delay of 6.5 years. The new Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinic will strengthen local access to diagnosis, treatment, allied health, and culturally safe care.
