Another year of competition came to a close at the Sale Field and Game
last Sunday.
The weather wasn’t on anyone’s side, but hats came off to the 251 competitors for persisting through the rain.
The club gave away 53 hams in competitor prizes and another 25 were awarded in a lucky draw to non-place getters.
The club also took the opportunity to recognise the significant contribution some individuals have made to the club.
Member Service Awards were presented to Neville Vaux and Robert Lyndon, the Dr Hugh Martin Medal Award to Geoff Glass and a Member Award to Gary Howard.
