Marlo Angling Club has finalised its awards for 2025, with grand champion Paul Faulkner cleaning up.
Faulkner’s dominance saw him announced as grand champion, but he also picked up estuary champion, surf/offshore champion and the longest estuary bream (38 centimetres).
Gemma Kummer’s perch (46 centimetres) was the winner of the estuary longest other species.
Club president, David Ballinger, landed the longest shark, a 114 centimetre gummy.
Cooper Findlay picked up multiple awards, winning longest other species (55 centimetre flathead) and longest fish (61 centimetre salmon).
The junior awards were hotly contested and dominated by Brooke Farley, who went home with estuary champion, Rolf Woerz memorial trophy and longest bream.
Jarrah Morrison won the estuary longest other species for his 42 centimetre luderick.
