Orbost Arts Centre’s popular Sunday Sessions return this month, bringing a high-caliber performance to the region on Sunday, February 15.
Headlining the event is the formidable local duo of Nick Fischer and Sean Lockhart, better known as Loki.
Nick Fischer is widely regarded as one of Victoria’s most versatile musicians.
Whether he is behind the drums, on bass, or handling rhythm and lead guitar duties, Fischer’s technical proficiency has earned him a stellar reputation across the state.
Local audiences may also recognise him from his high-energy “Electric Yeti” one-man-band performances.
Joining him is Sean “Loki” Lockhart, a multi-instrumentalist and composer with an eclectic musical pedigree.
Classically trained from a young age, Loki’s style was later forged in the creative landscapes of punk, experimental, and alternative rock.
His storied career includes sharing stages with iconic Australian acts and appearing on the legendary ABC music program RAGE.
Today, his projects span collaborative works and solo experimental compositions.
Together, Fischer and Loki are known for delivering a dynamic and richly textured live experience, blending their diverse backgrounds into a sound that is both powerful and unique.
Adding a distinct local flavour to the afternoon, the Snowy Jammers will perform as the support act.
Known for their “bluesy-rocky fusion,” the local band is expected to set a vibrant tone for the session with their signature jam-style energy.
The music kicks off this Sunday, February 15, at the Orbost Arts Centre from 3pm.
