There are plenty of fish in the region’s waterways at present.
Marlo – Bream and luderick are in the estuary taking mussels, pippis or local prawn. Gummies and bronze whalers can be found off the beach and offshore. Australian salmon, yellow tail kingfish and calamari are giving anglers some fun offshore.
Bemm River – Prawns and flathead are in the system. Australian salmon are being landed from the beach.
Mallacoota – The bottom lake may still be a bit discoloured with all the unsettling conditions in the area. Bream can be found up around Dahl Bank. Flathead are in the lake also the odd flounder can be found in the top lake biting on soft plastics.
