Netball Victoria has announced the 29 talent academy officials who will lead the next crop of up-and-coming netball talent in the state.
Designed for 14 and 16-year-olds that are talent identified at Netball Victoria’s State Titles and Association Championships, the program gives athletes from across Victoria access to high-quality coaches, support staff and resources.
The program is designed to help break down geographic barriers for talented athletes and officials, particularly in regional areas with six academies across the state.
The academies provide a professional level of development for the coaches, which includes on-court mentoring and online development sessions, in aim to progress officials into their next phase of their accreditations.
The Eastern region head coach is Yvonne Porter, who will be assisted by Robyn O’Bryan and Staci Scott.
The team manager and apprentice coach is Lisa Paterson.
