Show weekend was once again an outstanding success, with hundreds of locals and visitors flocking to the Newmerella Showgrounds for the 117th annual Orbost Show.
The weather set perfect conditions for families to walk around and explore the various stalls on offer.
Inside the pavilion, showgoers were able to admire the talents of the local community, with strong entries in baking, local produce, photography, craftwork and art, floral exhibits, and a scarecrow competition.
The Landcare Sustainability Expo featured guest speaker Pip Courtney, who gave a presentation on sustainable farming and soil management.
The traditional wood chop drew a large crowd, as did the livestock and horse competitions.
The Orbost Show committee expressed extreme satisfaction with how the day went, noting strong attendance and widespread community support. President Jason Griebenow thanked the volunteers who contributed either on the day or in the months leading up to the show.
