Gippsland is set to sizzle in 2026 as Meatstock, Australia’s ultimate music and barbecue festival, rolls into Lardner Park, Warragul, for a weekend of “BBQ, Bands, and Bedlam”.
The two-day festival will take place on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18, promising world-class country music, mouth-watering barbecue, and high-octane entertainment.
The live stage will host an impressive lineup of international and local country stars. Friday kicks off with US singer Bryan Martin alongside Australia’s own The Wolfe Brothers, Max Jackson, Rachael Fahim and Briana Dinsdale.
On Saturday, festival-goers can enjoy performances by Morgan Evans, US artists Chase Matthew and Austin Williams, Lane Pittman, Hayley Jensen, Denvah and Abbie Ferris.
Beyond the music, Meatstock is a carnivore’s dream.
The festival will feature the Heat Beads BBQ Wars, where national and international teams compete for top honours in their protein categories, and the Australian Butcher Wars, showcasing the skills of the country’s sharpest meat professionals.
Thrill-seekers can test their nerves with bull riding, described as the “toughest eight seconds in sport,” while the festival also hosts crowd favourites such as the dad bod contest, beard and mo wars, arm battles, and the sausage sizzle Throwdown.
Visitors can explore the extensive BBQ Expo for equipment and accessories, or even get inked at the on-site tattoo station.
Meatstock Gippsland 2026 promises to be a feast for the senses and a weekend getaway for music and food lovers alike.
