Mallacoota and District Angling Club enjoyed a fantastic weekend at Gipsy Point in memory of Kevin Becker.
Club officials were delighted to see so many boats on the water and plenty of fish caught across the weekend.
A large number of members gathered on Sunday for lunch, enjoying a barbecue, good company, and plenty of fishing stories, including those shared by the Becker family.
Winners for the weekend included Tom Brownlie (junior, 35cm), Archie Brownlie (sub-junior, 36cm), and Brock York (senior, 41cm), who took out the Kevin Becker Award for the largest bream. Other winners were Barry Cowden (flathead, 73cm) and Ryan Dyer (luderick, 40cm).
The club expressed its appreciation to everyone who attended and helped make the weekend
a memorable celebration of
fishing and community.
