The Sale Polocrosse Club recently ran a highly successful tournament weekend, with the home club featuring prominently in the grand final results.
In “A” grade Sale triumphed over Trafalgar in the final, with the home side also cleaning up in tournament awards.
Corey Buys (best number one), Ike Murray (best number two) and Lance Anderson (best number three and best horse and rider winner).
In “B” grade, Sale also reigned supreme, defeating Moorooduc in the decider, with the individual award winners, Kasey Henry (best number one), Darren Carlin (best number two) and Jim Henry (best number three and best horse and rider).
Trafalgar dominated the “C” grade competition, with Trafalgar 2 overcoming a persistent Trafalgar 3 in the grand final.
Standout performers were Ryan Dyke (best number one), Dalton Templeton (best number two), Gillian Templeton (best number three) and Lenny McMahon (best horse and rider).
Sale were again to the fore in “D” grade, defeating Pool in the final.
Awards to Darcy McNamara (best number one), Max Hart (best number two), Alice Smith (best number three and best horse and rider).
The High Point twilight series was won by Maffra Poly and Pumps, with Elliot Avis taking out best horse and rider.
In the under 21 challenge, Whittaker Farms were successful, with Hughie Anderson taking out the best horse and rider.
