Members of Jarrahmond Landcare Group gathered for a morning tea recently to celebrate the installation of two new entrance signs into Jarrahmond.
The signs replace ones which were more than 30 years old and bring a modern, colourful feel to the Jarrahmond Road and B Road entrances.
The imagery on the signs represents the rural community and feature the Jarrahmond Avenue of Honour and the Snowy River.
Further works are to be done to beautify the B Road entrance with some planting during the cooler months.
Plants will be sourced from the Moogji Native Plant Nursery.
Members thanked local resident Tahlia Easton, who worked closely with her grandfather, Graham Young, to create the design.
