A2Z Electrical and Irrigation is returning to the East Gippsland Field Days after a short break.
Proprietor Owen Feenstra is looking forward to the event which has been successful for his company in past years, resulting in a sound response from the rural community and many requests for quotes.
The company is a family-owned business and was established in 2020. The team at A2Z brings 20 plus years of experience in the industrial and commercial field and has a passion for making its client’s life easier, more efficient, better productivity and cost effective.
The team consists of two qualified electricians and an apprentice.
The company provides professional and prompt service in East Gippsland, Wellington, Latrobe and surrounding areas.
A2Z are stockist of all Irrico parts and products. Irrico is a global irrigation importer, bringing quality parts and products.
Mr Feenstra said the centre pivot irrigators had many benefits when compared to flood irrigation because the system was controlled meaning the ground was not saturated or starved of oxygen.
It operates via an app from a mobile phone, so the farmer has total control and water is not wasted.
“The system is easily controlled and requires no labour. If the farmer decides the crop needs 10mm than that is all set on the app,” he said.
Based in Heyfield, the company is popular across Gippsland including Lindenow, Thorpdale and Pakenham.
