There have been some great reports
of catches in the local systems over
Easter.
MARLO – Bream are active throughout the system, with French’s Narrows producing well on sandworm, while the estuary flats are giving up flathead and King George whiting. The Yeerung River is also fishing nicely, producing quality bream in quieter conditions.
BEMM RIVER – In the lake, flathead are actively chasing hardbody lures, while bream are also present and responding to both plastics and hardbodies, particularly around structures and drop-offs.
MALLACOOTA – Flathead are feeding well on soft plastics and diving lures throughout the inlet, while the system is also producing solid bream that are taking fresh prawn around snags and jetties.
