On Saturday, May 16 the Orbost Club Hotel and Serendipity Music Events are presenting their second Snowy River Country Music Festival at the Orbost Club Hotel from 6.30pm till late.
This year the event will move outside, with four talented Gippsland country acts performing on a stage in the area behind the Old Bottle Shop, with pub meals, a food van, country themed best dressed competition, DJ’s and more.
The line-up features Three Chain Road; playing foot stomping country favourites, Harry Hook is Real; an ARIA-nominated artist, Joe Blake and the Cut Snakes; a new band featuring artists who were on last year’s lineup and Tegan Blackstock; a heartfelt songstress opening the show.
Last year’s event sold out at 350 tickets with attendees coming from surrounding towns and interstate, delivering a welcome economic impact.
Due to the current financial climate this year more tickets will be available at a cheaper price to ensure the event is affordable for everyone.
There will also be a bus provided by Perry’s Buses and Charters servicing Bairnsdale, Bruthen, Nowa Nowa and return, which can be booked via the main event ticket link.
“It’s a tough climate for live music and it means the world that venues such as the Bottom Pub continue to support and grow our local music scene,” said Olivia Lay of Serendipity Music Events.
Early bird tickets are now available via Try Booking (2026 Snowy River Country Music Festival) or the Orbost Club Hotel and Serendipity Music Events Facebook pages.
