Last Tuesday saw the playing of the annual challenge match between the Lakes Entrance and Orbost Croquet Club, who competed for the Chris Eaton Memorial Trophy.
The memorial trophy is played yearly to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease (MND), with this year’s event won by Lakes Entrance 27 games to 15.
After the entry fee and raffle was counted, the day raised $429.
Three teams finished the day on three wins, and two had the same hoop difference, on countback the winners were Cory Schreuders and Fay Kleehammer from Reg Armstrong and Claire Boyd.
A great day was had by all with plenty of laughter and a lovely spread of food.
