Local race ace Olly Short recently contested round two of the Australian Superbike Championships at Sydney Motorsport Park.
It was another tough weekend for local speedster, describing it as tough as it gets.
Engine/electrical issues straight out
the gate meant no practice, no qualifying and a dead last start on the grid.
In race one, he failed to finish, after opting to use the second bike as the main bike was “cactus”, but apparently it
also had issues, causing him to retire after just one lap.
He placed ninth in race two, riding with a suspension setup so far out of
the window,” he could’ve ridden a pushbike faster”.
Short was expecting some positives this round, but it wasn’t to be, his
focus now on round three at Tailem Bend
from May 1-3.
