The Buchan Precision Rifle Club hosted 11 shooters over the weekend for the May NRL22 monthly Course of Fire.
The event featured two special international guests from Canada, Khalil Lakhani and Keanna Brudy, who finished first and second in the international section of the match.
In the main competition, young shooter Mark Hederman claimed overall victory, edging out Matt Cunningham on countback after recording more impacts but being separated on time alone, with Lachy Marshall finishing third.
Ben Gebert also added a couple of extra stages inspired by the Buchan theme, rounding out a strong day of competition.
Cunningham later returned to form in a separate segment of the event, finishing ahead of Hederman and Matthew Hutchinson.
The next major event on the calendar is the Australian Championships in Monarto, South Australia over the King’s Birthday long weekend.
