Live entertainment is set to return to the historic Stratford Courthouse this month, with one of Australia’s rapidly rising stand-up comedy talents locked in to headline a major night of laughs.
Proud Indigenous comedian Aden Hitchens will take to the Stratford stage on Saturday, June 13, bringing his signature blend of high-energy performance, sharp observational humour, and deep storytelling.
Known for building a strong following both on stage and across digital platforms, Hitchens’ dynamic live shows seamlessly weave together traditional stand-up routines, skits, and sketch comedy that proudly represent the diversity and strength of First Nations voices in the contemporary comedy circuit.
The upcoming regional gig follows a busy couple of years for the comic, who has toured extensively across the country and successfully debuted back-to-back solo shows at the prestigious Melbourne International Comedy
Festival, performing Everything I’ve Got in 2023 and Random Things in 2024.
Adding extra local flavour to the evening’s entertainment, rising homegrown comedy star Mae McCubbin has been confirmed as the primary support act for the night.
Organisers are promising an unforgettable evening of performance for Central Gippsland comedy fans,
with the show scheduled to kick off at 7.30pm.
