Works on the Marlo Foreshore are nearing completion, with several major milestones already achieved as part of the ongoing Foreshore Management Program.
The upgrades are designed to enhance the popular coastal destination for both residents and visitors, creating a more functional, accessible and enjoyable public space.
Project crews have successfully completed all core concrete works and installed new street furniture along the foreshore.
Further additions, including the installation of new public bins and a dedicated barbecue shelter, are scheduled for completion in the coming days.
The final stage of the upgrade will involve a power utility connection, which is required to service the newly installed public barbecue.
Once finalised, the improvements will support the long-term management and activation of the Marlo Foreshore.
The upgraded infrastructure is expected to provide a highly usable, modern outdoor space for the local community and tourists, enhancing the appeal of the popular coastal township.
