Locals push for better roads

Marlo locals have been waiting months for upgrades to roads, with some in the town still yet to be sealed.
Stirling, Conlon and Duncan streets are the only roads in Marlo not sealed and are considered some of the oldest roads in the town.
Marlo resident, Peter Ryzak, has been advocating for better roads for more than 12 months, sending emails to a number of East Gippsland Shire Councillors to address the issue.
“It’s a disgrace, an accident waiting to happen for both motorists and cyclists,” Mr Ryzak said.
“These roads should be treated as a matter of urgency.”
