McKinnon sells up

by Snowy River Mail
10 August 2022
in Local News

Cann River local, Gus McKinnon, has  decided to sell his two quarries in Cann River to Robert Brunt, of Brunts Harvesting.
“I think selling was a bit overdue,” Gus said. “I wanted someone to take over the business because small towns like Cann River need the business.”
Buyer, Rob Brunt, has known Gus for a number of years, and says securing the quarry will help expand his own harvesting company.
“I spent quite a bit of time at Cann River, and I’ve known Gus for quite a long time,” Rob said.
“We’ve taken over the quarry for another outlet, so we can diversify our business, and my employees can easily adapt to work in this industry.”
