Orbost Community College principal, Peter Seal, held another round of parent and student information sessions on Monday.
One session was held in the morning and another later in the afternoon.
While the build is still in progress, meaning no physical tour of the site was permitted, a series of updated photographs were presented to show the progress to date.
Now that a principal has been appointed, many of the main questions which have been frequently asked at these sessions were able to be answered, especially around issues relating to whether the senior students can use the junior toilets, which they will not be able to.
While there is no physical fence to divide the school from junior and senior students, it is anticipated students will naturally congregate in areas of similar ages, with the exception of sports being played such as cricket.
“The actual first day of the 2024 school year there will be no students at school, instead we will be welcoming them to come along with their families to walk through the site and have a chat to their teachers and see them in their natural habitat,” Mr Seal said.
