The East is the place to be this Easter long weekend.
Easter in Marlo is synonymous with visitors flocking to the area for fishing or a quiet weekend away with loved ones.
The anticipated weather forecast looks like an absolute pearler with showers not likely to dampen any Easter festivities until Monday.
If you don’t have any luck reeling in a feed of fish for Good Friday then don’t stress, the Marlo Angling Club will be hosting their annual Fish n Chip Night at the clubrooms from 6pm, with a coffee van onsite as well as the bar open.
Be sure to bring a picnic blanket and set up outside on the lawn area as the seating inside is likely to fill up fast.
Saturday always proves to be the highlight on the calendar with the Marlo Primary School Fete kicking off from 9am at the school.

The kids were kept happy with sausages in bread for dinner, icy poles to follow and a sugar high from the Easter Egg Hunt all while playing games in The Old Bottleshop, or dancing up a storm with the star attraction of the evening, the Easter Bunny, who arrived right on time with the Orbost Police.
