There were mixed results in junior netball in round 13 of the East Gippsland Football Netball League for the young Orbost Snowy Rovers teams.
The under 15s made all the running, dominating the second quarter (12-6), on the way to a way to a decisive 15-goal victory.
Leila Barnes, Jas Westaway and Holly Hanratty all had outstanding games for the Blues.
In the under 17s, the Blues who sit in fifth place and are well out of finals contention, took the game right up to the highly rated Bomber outfit, who are currently second on the ladder.
In a high class and fast paced encounter, it was the Bombers who prevailed, 48-37, after the courageous Blues led by a goal at quarter time, showing they can match it with the best if on song.
Named among the best for the Blues were Jess Griebenow, Lara and Phoebe Seal.
