There was a good turn-out of members when the Wilderness Coast Artists hosted the Cultural and Creative Coordinator and Place Officers, Mary Jane and Ash, at last Tuesday’s regular painting day.
Information was shared about shire support and opportunities for the local art group and a delicious lunch.
Mary Jane and Ash were shown the mural works and examples of some of the art their members make.
They were impressed by the lyrebird painting shown, which is a combined effort of more than 20 artists, and are giving it a new home in the foyer of the Forge Theatre in Bairnsdale.
