The Gwenfa Hampton Pre-School, East Gippsland All Blacks Football and Netball Club Aboriginal Corporation, Stratford and District Angling Club, Bairnsdale Football Netball Club Big Freeze MND Event and the Nowa Nowa Pony Club are the latest recipients of a total of $10,000 in community grants from Gippsland Critical Minerals (GCM).
GCM’s Community Grants program supports community projects and initiatives in Bairnsdale, Sale, and throughout Gippsland with a focus on supporting local educational, recreational, environmental, and social initiatives.
The program provides five $2000 grants each quarter, totalling $40,000 each year.
“It’s exciting to support another five community groups doing amazing work in our local community,” GCM’s Janet Robertson said.
“Each of these grants will help local organisations that are doing so much to create a thriving community in Gippsland.
“GCM is working hard to build links and engage local community members while we continue to examine the Fingerboards Critical Minerals Project. Our community grants program is a small part of involvement in the local community.”
