ORBOST/BRUTHEN PENNANT
PRACTICE MATCH
Last Saturday’s weather was perfect, allowing a pennant practice match between Orbost and Bruthen at the Orbost Bowling Club.
With a good turnout of players from both clubs, the game started just after 10am and finished around 1.30pm at the completion of the 21 ends, with Orbost being the overall winner.
The day was rounded off with a barbecue lunch for all the players, which was enjoyed by participants.
The Orbost members were grateful for the efforts of Bruthen members for travelling to Orbost for the match and are hopeful a similar practice match can be held in future years.
