The Wilderness Coast Artists welcomed back contemporary Australian artist Craig Penny for a three-day acrylic painting workshop at the St James Hall in Orbost.
Craig is no stranger to the group with workshop places filled. This workshop took artists right out of their comfort zone as Craig demonstrated how to use without fear a wide paint brush, making confident deft brushstrokes.
With many assignments over three days and some to do in an hour about capturing the essentials of a scene with minimal brushstrokes, the artists produced amazing results.
Saturday night at the bottom pub brought the painters together for more camaraderie and artist-talk.
