Amplitude Energy, formerly Cooper Energy, is proud to announce a significant economic contribution to the Gippsland region, with a $28.3 million contribution to Victoria’s Gross State Product in 2023-24.
This investment supports the local economy through job creation, spending on goods and services and community engagement.
Amplitude Energy operates key assets in Gippsland, including the Orbost Gas Processing Plant, which processes natural gas from the offshore Sole gas field.
The company spent $22.2 million in Gippsland on goods, services, wages, and direct initiatives, supporting local businesses and providing opportunities for regional suppliers.
In total, 75 full-time equivalent jobs were created in Gippsland, including roles at the Orbost Gas Plant, where 25 employees live in the surrounding Gippsland area.
Amplitude Energy’s operations are vital to the region’s workforce, providing stable, well-paying jobs and contributing to local economic growth.
