Weather again interrupted last weeks Gippsland Bowls Region midweek pennant competition, with Orbost splitting the points with Lakes Entrance 2.
The division two fixture saw players called from the greens when the temperature soared over 36 degrees, as insufficient ends had been played to declare a winner, the match points were split evenly between both teams, giving Orbost and Lakes Entrance 2 seven match points each.
This result means that Orbost remains third on their ladder, with one round remaining, a finals campaign looking more than likely.
